The Efkranti Awards are presented annually by the renowned Greek publication Naftika Chronika by Gratia Publications. The selection committee is diverse and multidisciplinary including respected representatives from maritime, academia and specialised industry press.

The selection committee’s decision was made taking into consideration Mrs Theodosiou’s outstanding communications policy, which is characterised by transparency, valuable content and consistency. Mrs Theodosiou, through her position as co-CEO of Cyprus-based leading maritime technology provider, Tototheo Maritime, but also as WISTA International president has contributed significantly towards raising awareness and promoting the Cypriot and the Greek shipping industries internationally.

The Efkranti Awards ceremony was held on 20th May 2019 at the Aikaterini Laskaride Foundation in Piraeus.
