TOTOTHEO Maritime co-CEO Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou participated at a special event held at the IMO on International Labour Day, exploring issues of female participation in the maritime industry. The event was co-organised by WISTA, International Chamber of Shipping, BIMCO and INTERTANKO.
The IMO Secretary General Kitack Lim addressed the meeting and the panel comprised of Sakura Kuma (Executive Director of the Port of Yokohama), Fran Collins (CEO of Red Funnel Group), Katy Ware (Maritime Safety and Standards Director at the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency), Despina Theodossiou (CEO of Tototheo Maritime and President of WISTA International) and Kathi Stanzel, (MD of INTERTANKO), moderated by Guy Platten (Secretary General of ICS).
