Iridium's voice service features:

Iridium World Data Service
Iridium offers two global data services:

• Dial-Up Data Serviceat rates up to 2.4 kbps
• Direct Internet Data featuring transparent compression for data transmission rates of up to 10 kbps

Short Message Service (SMS)
Receive and send short messages directly through the Iridium terminal and/or L-Band Transceiver (LBT).  Service features include:

• Two-way global text messaging
• Up to 160 alphanumeric characters in a single message

Iridium Prepaid Services

Prepaid SIM service, which can be used with all Iridium equipment, is ideal for situations where there is one phone and one user.
